“Spring Thing” Playlist
Ah, spring: the cool breeze, goosebumps in the shade, warm sunlight on the back of your neck, the burst of colors, life blooming everywhere— there isn’t a season as invigorating and inspiring as spring.
Even though my musical tastes are suited best for fall, making spring playlists is revitalizing. They are mood-boosting, giving you a literal spring to your step, but not overly so. I leave the full-blown cheeriness to summer. For me, spring music should be a delicate balance of soft and bright — a beautiful bouquet of songs. As always, I’ve included some classic old-school tunes (that will get you feeling groovy) along with more obscure songs that you’ll either fall in love with or wonder what the heck I was thinking — a fine line but exactly how I like it).
